With tons of leadership changes at Hallmark in 2025, there has been speculation that mysteries might be on the chopping block. However, we’re thrilled to see Haunted Harmony moving forward with a brand new installment, along with the addition of True Justice and the news that Curious Caterer will be back in 2026. All signs point to Hallmark mysteries sticking around – even if their home base shifts to Hallmark Channel.

When it comes to watching the Haunted Harmony Mysteries in order, things just got a little tricky. We were originally under the impression that Haunted Harmony Mysteries: Death in D Minor would be the next film in the franchise, but Hallmark pulled a fast one.
Either the movie’s title has changed, or they quietly filmed more than one installment earlier this year. What we do know is that the new “C” title doesn’t line up with Alexia Gordon’s novel Killing in C Sharp, so it’s unclear whether this is an adaptation of that story or something entirely different. We’ll keep this section updated as soon as Hallmark Media confirms more details.
Haunted Harmony Mysteries: Filming Details
Production for this highly anticipated Hallmark mystery movie is already underway in Ireland, with filming reportedly beginning on February 4, 2025, in Dublin. As recently as February 12, the cast and crew were still actively shooting, further fueling excitement for this next chapter in the Haunted Harmony Mysteries franchise.
Tamera Mowry-Housley is widely recognized for her role in the long-running sitcom Sister, Sister, where she starred alongside her real-life twin, Tia Mowry. She later appeared in films like The Hot Chick and took on the role of Dr. Kayla Thornton in the medical drama Strong Medicine. Mowry-Housley eventually made her mark on the Hallmark Channel, starring in movies such as The Santa Stakeout, Girlfriendship, and Dream Moms.
Risteard Cooper reprises his role as Eamon, and we couldn’t be more excited. His portrayal of the ghostly Eamon left a lasting impression, making his return a welcome one. An accomplished Irish actor, comedian, and writer, Cooper has showcased his talents on both stage and screen. This marks his second project with Hallmark.

Linda-Lisa Hayter, who directed Haunted Harmony Mysteries: Murder in G Major in 2023, returns to helm this sequel, ensuring continuity and a consistent vision for the growing series.
Linda-Lisa is a talented and accomplished director with an ever-growing body of work. Her past projects include Cranberry Christmas, Right in Front of Me, Signed, Sealed, Delivered: The Vows We Have Made, and Unexpected Grace. In 2024, she directed Signed, Sealed, Delivered: A Tale of Three Letters and His & Hers. She has also helmed the upcoming Signed, Sealed, Delivered: To the Moon and Back, the highly anticipated 13th installment in the beloved, fan-favorite series.
Haunted Harmony Mysteries: Buried at C – Screenwriter Update
It remains unconfirmed whether Kraig Wenman, the screenwriter behind Murder in G Major, will return to write the screenplay for Buried at C. Wenman has crafted several Hallmark mystery favorites, including CrimeTime: FreeFall, Crossword Mysteries: Riddle Me Dead, A Beautiful Place to Die: A Martha’s Vineyard Mystery, multiple Garage Sale Mystery installments, and Murder She Baked: A Deadly Recipe. With his distinct voice and talent for bringing mysteries to life on screen, his potential return would be a welcome addition to the film.
