Hallmark’s Spring Into Love 2025 Lineup: Is This Really It?

Hallmark’s Spring Into Love 2025 Lineup has arrived, and let’s just say… it’s not exactly making our hearts spring. While this annual event is usually a welcome sign that winter is over and love is in the air, this year’s slate is leaving us with more questions than warm fuzzies. With Spring Into Love running from March 22 – April 19, we can’t help but wonder – what the heck is planned for the last week of April? And why is this year kicking off so much earlier than previous years?

Perhaps Hallmark is just as eager to usher in spring as we are, but after last year’s lineup brought us the utterly charming Blind Date Book Club (starring Erin Krakow and Robert Buckley) and the heartwarming Branching Out (with Sarah Drew and Juan Pablo Di Pace), this year’s offerings feel… a little light. There’s something about this lineup that lacks the same sparkle, and it’s hard not to notice the absence of those instantly buzz-worthy titles that had fans excited long before their premieres.

Speaking of light – where are the mysteries? Last year, we got the exciting introduction of Victor Webster as Chad in One Bad Apple: A Hannah Swensen Mystery and one of the better Curious Caterer installments with Foiled Plans. This year, it’s eerily quiet on the Hallmark Mysteries front. But before we speculate on what’s missing, let’s dive into what is coming this spring.

But What About Hallmark Mysteries?

Earlier this year, fans grew concerned that the network might away from mysteries altogether. Fortunately, with projects like Haunted Harmony Mysteries and True Justice: Family Ties currently in production, it’s clear that mysteries still have a home on Hallmark. But what about for April?

So far, there haven’t been any mystery movies announced for Spring Into Love, leaving us to wonder if Hallmark simply hasn’t revealed its plans yet. Will we see another Hannah Swensen installment (there are reportedly two in the can already)? A new Curious Caterer? Or maybe the long-awaited Signed, Sealed, Delivered: To the Moon and Back?

With no official announcements yet, it’s anyone’s guess. Are more mysteries on the way, or will we be left without a new whodunit until May?

Spring Into Love… Lukewarm at Best?

While we’re always happy to see new Hallmark movies, Spring Into Love 2025 isn’t exactly giving us a reason to celebrate just yet. Compared to last year’s standout titles, this lineup feels a little undercooked.

Hallmark’s Hearts Around the Table series feels very much in the same vein as Unwrapping Christmas and The Love Club – a collection of interconnected stories that, while charming in concept, don’t always deliver the high-quality production or widespread fan appeal of Hallmark’s more traditional movies. If we had to guess, these films were likely originally slated for Hallmark+ before finding a home on the main channel. While these kinds of series can be a fun way to explore different characters within a shared universe, they don’t always capture the same magic or excitement as Hallmark’s standalone hits.

  1. Hallmark spoiled us last year (thank you very much Hallmark!), although there were a few duds. Most of the 2024 movies raised the bar so high that Hallmark might not be able to reach the bar, let alone jump over it.
Sadly, since January, there has not been one movie, out of the 10, that I have wanted to watch again nor sat through in one sitting – it’s been easy for me to hit the pause button and, dare I write this, stopped watching entirely.
I’ve just read your “Hallmark’s Spring Into Love 2025” and have to say I am less than impressed with the April lineup. I am not filled with anticipation and have no fuzzies at all.
I am missing that feeling of anticipatory excitement I get when I read the synopsis and, just as importantly, who the main actors are and whether the end result and the actors will be able to bring the story to life.
I live in hope that 2025’s “Spring Into Love” lineup will prove me wrong.
