A member of the POstables community shared a rumor with us suggesting that the next Signed, Sealed, Delivered movie could premiere before the end of 2024.
Why We Believe This May Not Be Accurate
While we’re eagerly anticipating the next installment too, the influx of new movies, series, and unscripted content coming to Hallmark+, combined with the 2024 Countdown to Christmas season, makes it highly unlikely that the network would cram Signed, Sealed, Delivered: To the Moon and Back into an already heavy lineup.
Don’t Miss It: Release Date for the Next Signed, Sealed, Delivered Movie
Back in April, People Magazine announced that Signed, Sealed, Delivered will make a triumphant return with two new movies, one slated for 2024 and another for 2025.
Our best guess is that To the Moon and Back will premiere in mid-January or February 2025.
Historically, the network tends to be a little quiet after the busy Countdown to Christmas season. We usually see the return of The Way Home in January, and we can easily envision Signed, Sealed, Delivered airing on a Friday night on Hallmark Mysteries, followed by a new movie on Saturday and The Way Home on Sunday.

Fans of the Signed, Sealed, Delivered franchise have experienced a rollercoaster of emotions this year. It’s been three years since the last installment, and fans have been eagerly waiting to discover what has happened since Shane and Oliver’s wedding in Signed, Sealed, Delivered: The Vows We Have Made.
The SSD Journey So Far
Signed, Sealed, Delivered follows the lives of four postal detectives who work in the Dead Letter Office, solving the mysteries behind undeliverable mail. The team, led by the enigmatic Oliver O’Toole (Eric Mabius), includes the tech-savvy Shane McInerney (Kristin Booth), the free-spirited Rita Haywith (Crystal Lowe), and the lovable Norman Dorman (Geoff Gustafson). Over the years, their adventures have uncovered lost love letters, reunited families, and resolved long-standing mysteries, all while exploring the characters’ own personal growth and relationships.
We reviewed the entire Signed, Sealed, Delivered canon during the summer of 2024, and it truly is an exceptionally well-written series with outstanding performances.
