A Royal Setting
Hallmark’s A Royal Setting brings a little sparkle – and a little family drama – as Ruby, a world-renowned gemologist, is brought in by Prince Luca to restore the crown jewels and design a new crown fit for a future king. What should be a straightforward job quickly turns complicated when tradition, expectations, and one very opinionated queen get in the way. The film marks the highly anticipated return of fan favorite Jen Lilley, reuniting with Dan Jeannotte for the first time since Paris, Wine & Romance.
A Royal Setting premiered on Saturday, March 28, 2026, on Hallmark Channel (and is now available to stream on Hallmark+).

- Ansley Gordon and W. Stewart share writing credit.
- Ansley brings 23 previous credits, including Melt My Heart This Christmas from the 2025 holiday season.
- W. Stewart has 9 credits, including two Unwrapping Christmas titles: Lily’s Destiny and Mia’s Prince.
- Jen Lilley stars as Ruby, marking her long-awaited return to Hallmark for the first time since 2022. Fans will remember her from favorites like Mingle All the Way, A Little Daytime Drama, and the cult classic The Spirit of Christmas.
- Dan Jeannotte co-stars as Prince Luca, reuniting with Jen Lilley after Paris, Wine & Romance. He was most recently seen in Love on the Danube: Royal Getaway.

- Tim Machin appears as Guard Fred. This and a movie called Christmas with a Prince: The Royal Baby from 2021 are his only acting credits.
