The Stars Between Us
Some connections are written in the stars and in The Stars Between Us it takes two eclipses and seven years to prove it. Sarah Drew and Matt Long headline this Loveuary romance about a chance encounter, a missed opportunity, and the question of whether the universe might just give you a second chance. We’re talking celestial timing, second chances, and whether this one lives up to the hype.

The Stars Between Us premieres Saturday, February 21, 2026, on Hallmark Channel at 8/7c. It will be available to stream on Hallmark+ the following day.

About The Stars Between Us
Seven years ago, Kim made a connection with a stranger during an eclipse event. Now a fledgling news reporter, Kim returns to Illinois for this year’s eclipse — unaware that their paths may cross again. It’s a classic second-chance romance with a cosmic twist: can you really find your way back to someone the stars once put in your path?
The eclipse backdrop gives this one a little something extra. There’s something wonderfully poetic about a once-in-a-generation celestial event standing in for the kind of love that only comes around when everything aligns perfectly. We’re here for it.

Cast and Crew of The Stars Between Us
- Michael Robison directed The Stars Between Us. Michael is the director behind 92 projects including a slew of Hallmark hits. A few Girls Gone Hallmark favorites include both An Unexpected Christmas and An Unexpected Valentine, as well as Adventures in Love and Birding.
- Tim Huddleston wrote The Stars Between Us. Tim has four previous writing credits including Sense and Sensibility from 2024 on Hallmark.
- Sarah Drew stars as Kim. We know her and love her as Emily on Mistletoe Murders, but her 54 acting credits include roles in Hallmark movies like One Summer and Guiding Emily. She will also appear in the biopic Jimmy about James Stewart, due for theatrical release later this year.
- Matt Long appears as Malcolm. Matt got his start in the one-season series Jack and Bobby in 2004 — a show that appears to be well loved by fans but unfortunately isn’t streaming anywhere. Matt also appeared on Mad Men and the series Manifest. He hasn’t been seen on Hallmark since Christmas Joy in 2018, making this a very welcome return.
- Donna Benedicto plays Claire in this film. Donna has a total of 69 acting projects and we recently saw her in The More the Merrier. Her other Hallmark projects include The Professional Bridesmaid, Sweet Carolina, and Jingle Bell Bride.
- Grayson Gurnsey is taking a break from his role as Nick on Virgin River to play Reed. Grayson has 24 acting credits and this is his second appearance on Hallmark after appearing in a Garage Sale Mystery film in 2017.
- Junnica Lagoutin plays Meredith. This is Junnica’s 12th acting project and her first appearance on Hallmark.
- Benjamin Wilkinson appears as Steve. Benjamin has 111 acting projects under his belt ranging from Hallmark projects like Family Practice Mysteries and When Calls the Heart to Family Law and The Good Doctor.
- Katherine Evans plays Samantha. Although Katherine was in Gilded Newport Mysteries, her typical acting projects skew much more in the science fiction direction with credits in The Mysterious Benedict Society, Supernatural, and Six.
- Kevin O’Grady is Pete Whitaker in The Stars Between Us. He played Detective Lynwood on the Garage Sale Mysteries series and was recently seen in Christmas Above the Clouds.
- Iris Quinn plays Beth. Iris has a long resume of Hallmark titles including The Wish Swap and The More the Merrier from 2025.
