- There are three writers credited for writing The Finnish Line: John Bellina, Talia Gonzales and Nicole Drespel.
- John Bellina has 6 writing credits, including the Hallmark movie Never Too Late to Celebrate from 2023.
- Talia Gonzales has 11 writing credits which also includes Never Too Late to Celebrate, as well as a couple of episodes of Virgin River, Hawaii 5-0 and iZombie.
- Nicole Drespel has 9 writing credits which includes last year’s GGH favorite Mystic Christmas.

- Páll Sigþór Pálsson plays Monty. Pall has just 7 acting credits, most being foreign titles.
