About Deck the Walls on Hallmark
- Jake Van Wagoner directed Deck the Walls. This is Jake’s 7th directing credit and his first for Hallmark. He has worked as a producer on Hallmark films like Holly and Ivy, Christmas in Vienna, and Christmas Tree Lane.
- Danny Pellegrino and Tracy Andreen wrote the script. Per Danny, the script was his idea, and Tracy took on the role of “Hallmarkifying” it!
- This is Danny’s first writing credit. He also has a leading role in this movie, playing Sal Demonte!
- This is Tracy Andreen’s 35th writing credit. She also wrote Holiday Crashers and The Magic of Lemon Drops, among other favorites like The Holiday Sitter and Two Tickets to Paradise.
- Wes Brown plays Brysen Douglas. This movie marks Wes’ 54th acting credit. Just this year, he has also appeared in Love on the Danube: Love Song as well as Autumn at Apple Hill.
- Ashley Greene plays Rose Demonte. Ashley has 52 acting credits and is probably best known for her role as Alice Cullen in the Twilight series. She has previously appeared in Hallmark films, including A Little Christmas Charm and Christmas on My Mind.
- Claybourne Elder plays Jake Hunter. Claybourne is an accomplished stage actor, having most recently played the role of Gaston in Beauty and the Beast. He has 12 on-screen credits, including playing John Adams in The Gilded Age.
- Carolyn Hennesy plays Aunt Gigi. Carolyn has 198 acting credits, which include 656 episodes of General Hospital. She also appeared on Cougar Town and the Disney series Jessie.
- Lindsay Pulsipher plays Bianca. Lindsay has 52 acting credits. While this appears to be her first Hallmark credit, she did appear in True Blood, a series that Wes Brown also did 7 episodes of.
- Cora Bella plays Airabella.
- Deck the Walls was filmed in Utah, mostly in the city of Midway, about an hour outside of Salt Lake City.
