The Chicken Sisters – Premieres on Tuesday, September 10th and each Thursday thereafter
Kicking off the Hallmark+ September 2024 lineup is The Chicken Sisters, an 8-episode series featuring a stellar cast.
Synopsis: Set in the fictional town of Merinac, The Chicken Sisters is a family drama infused with southern charm and romance. The series centers on a long-standing feud between two rival fried chicken restaurants, Mimi’s and Frannie’s, which has divided the founding families and the town’s residents. When a popular cooking competition arrives, it sets the stage for a showdown that could either mend old wounds or escalate the conflict.
First impression: We’ve already read the book and can’t wait to see it come to life with this series.

With the assistance of party planners, family, and volunteers, Chabert has just three days to create a magical and memorable event for each deserving person.
First impression: This series is sure to be feel-good, but it might also trigger some of those envy-inducing Oprah’s Favorite Things moments.
Love on the Danube: Love Song – Premieres on Tuesday, September 10th
Wes Brown and Nazneen Contractor star in the first of three films in the Danube collection. The script is by Andrea Canning (A Merry Scottish Christmas and A Paris Proposal) and Agnes Bristow (A Safari Romance and A Tail of Love). The movie is directed to Hallmark royalty Terry Ingram (Three Wise Men and a Baby).
Synopsis: A daughter traveling with her widowed mother and a son traveling with his widower father meet on a cruise and decide that their musical parents would make the perfect couple try to engineer a romance only to falling in love themselves.

Love on the Danube: Royal Getaway – Premieres on Thursday, September 19th
Jessica Sipos (Betty’s Bad Luck in Love, A Season for Family) and Dan Jeannotte take the spotlight in this film, bringing their talents to a fresh and exciting project. With the creative vision of director Norma Bailey (The Way Home) and the storytelling flair of screenwriter Aubrey Day (The Dancing Detective: A Deadly Tango) lead the crew.
Synopsis: Heartbroken after being jilted at the altar Sandra, a straight-talking urban art gallery manager, takes her honeymoon anyway and meets a charming European gentleman who shares her passion for art. However, trust and deception are an issue.

Sarah Power (Our Italian Christmas Memories) and Brendan Penny star in this film, brought to life by the script of Agnes Bristow (Love on the Danube: Love Song) and the visionary direction of Peter Benson (Blind Date Book Club, Navigating Christmas). With their combined talents and the creative touch of this dynamic duo, this movie is sure to be a standout hit!
Synopsis: Publicist Savannah Bailey offers Tripp Marks, her actor client of newfound fame, the ability to connect with fans and find his type at a rom com cruise event Kiss con after reinventing himself but he must learn who he is without celebrity.
First impression: Brendan Penny doesn’t usually miss and here’s hoping he wears his sexy Clark Kent glasses.
The Jane Mysteries: A Deadly Prescription – Premieres on Tuesday, September 10th

Synopsis: Jane Da Silva and Detective John fight for justice as they race against time to prove the innocence of a wrongly imprisoned teenager.
First impression: While we appreciate the return of Jodie Sweetin and Stephen Huzar in the Jane movies, we have to admit that this one, along with the next two, haven’t quite sparked our excitement just yet. Here’s hoping they surprise us and win us over!
