The Way Home Episode Highlights
Here’s some of the things that had us talking in Season 3 Episode 10:
- “Take me back to the start” – The music! A massive bravo to Jen Pyken and Ann Kline (also credited as music supervisor) for absolutely crushing it in this episode. The Scientist (originally by Coldplay) was the perfect gut-punch, making an already emotional scene hit even harder. We’re still recovering.
- The amount of tears we cried while watching – Seriously, was this an episode of The Way Home or an Olympic event in emotional endurance? One heartbreaking moment after another, especially those between Colton and Alice. Hats off to the actors for delivering performances that wrecked us in the best way possible.
- The subtle but oh-so-important reveal of the freaking typewriter – Hello, potential game-changer! Is this a real clue? Is Danny secretly the mastermind behind the letters to Del? We are on high alert for season four.
- KC to the rescue! – Our mysterious time-traveling hero swooped in to save Jacob’s butt, but can we please get some answers about who KC is, where they come from, and why they always show up just in time? Not enough revelations about KC in this finale episode.
- The random ‘70s chick mystery – SOLVED! – Turns out, she’s Elliot’s mom (so many of our listeners were right!), but hold on, we still don’t know why she fully abandoned him as a baby. Just when we think we’re getting answers, we get more questions. Classic The Way Home.
