Episode 4 Recap

Kat’s journey through the pond takes her straight into 1999, where she not only sees Alice but also comes face-to-face with her younger self, Jacob, and Colton. The emotional gut punch leaves Kat reeling as she returns to the present, unsure of what to do next. Meanwhile, Del is busy juggling chores on the farm and preparing for the lobster social, where her friendship with Rita is tested yet again.

Alice, for her part, continues balancing two timelines—spending time with her mom as a teenager while secretly comparing Young Brady with the dad she knows in the present. Her growing friendship with Nick deepens (cue nineties movie night), while Kat begins to forge new connections of her own—some with Monica, and some with Dr. Andy.

The episode culminates in one of the show’s most dramatic farm scenes yet: Del’s cow finally gives birth, with Elliot stepping in to help, just as Brady returns to Port Haven—setting the stage for even more complicated family drama.

What We Loved

  • The music drops: from LFO’s “Summer Girls” to David Gray’s “This Year’s Love,” the soundtrack nailed the late-’90s mood.
  • Alice and Nick’s chemistry: sweet, easy, and full of YA-romance vibes.
  • Kat’s emotional breakdown watching Jacob and Colton—Kyler Leigh delivered a standout performance.
  • The cow birthing scene: tense, messy, and surprisingly moving.

Big Questions Raised

  • Now that Kat has traveled back, how will her knowledge of the past change her future?
  • Can Alice keep up her double life between two timelines?
  • And is Brady’s return going to bring the Landrys together—or pull them further apart?

Why This Episode Works

“What’s My Age Again?” balances nostalgia with high-stakes family drama and introduces a new layer of complexity to the time-travel storyline. With Kat now fully aware of Alice’s secret, the show shifts into a higher gear, and we can’t wait to see where it goes next.
