What We Loved

  • All the 90s callbacks: mix tapes, AOL dial-up, Britney Spears, and butterfly clips.
  • Alice’s acoustic “…Baby One More Time” moment. Sadie Laflamme-Snow shines.
  • The growing bond between Kat and Monica, which feels long overdue.
  • That final pond scene: Kat joining Alice opens a whole new storyline.

Questions We’re Asking

  • What will happen now that Kat has traveled back to 1999?
  • Can Alice keep up her double life without blowing her cover?
  • And is Jacob’s disappearance tied to the pond after all?

Why This Episode Works

“I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” balances nostalgia, heart, and just enough mystery to keep us binge-watching. With Kat now pulled into the past, the story is primed to get even more complicated—and we’re ready for it.

Kat starts a new job at the local paper and finds herself covering a much different kind of story than she did in Minneapolis. The reporter in her becomes suspicious of Alice’s newfound contentment in Port Haven which, unbeknownst to her, is fueled by the time Alice is spending in the past with the Landrys during a happier time. Meanwhile, when Del gets an offer to buy the boat Colton bought for them, the prospect of selling it stirs up mixed emotions.
