The Ultimate Hallmark Summer Movies Checklist
With summer on the horizon, maybe you’re dreaming of days spent poolside with a cool drink in your hand. Or maybe your summer style is more couch plus air conditioning plus a good Hallmark movie! With the help of our Girls Gone Hallmark Facebook Group members, we’ve compiled the ultimate list of summer Hallmark movies to keep you entertained this summer!
Plus, we’ve even included a handy movie watching guide so you can track and rate the movies you watch!
Hallmark Beachy Bliss
As you might expect, the majority of the fan favorite movies were set near the ocean.
Two Tickets to Paradise (2022)
Coming in at number one (and our personal favorite Hallmark summer movie) this story of two weddings gone wrong is fun from start to finish (with the exception of getting left at the altar!)
Personally, we think this is Ryan Paevey’s best movie ever and Ashley Williams is charming as can be.

Pearl in Paradise (2018)
Pearl in Paradise was mentioned over and over again in our Facebook group, which led us to do a throwback review of the movie!
Jill Wagner and Kris Polaha play a photographer and a writer who team up to find the sought after Fijian pearl. We suspect they find a kiss in the final moments, too. Bonus: It’s shot on location in Fiji!

Wedding Every Weekend (2020)
Paul Campell and Kimberly Sustad. Need we say more? Fine, these two pair up as wedding buddies to get through a busy season of weddings. Surprise! They find love along the way!
Fun fact: This movie was filmed with heavy COVID restrictions and one of the weddings features mannequins as guests!

Love at the Shore (2017)
Amanda Rhigetti and Peter Porte clash as single mom trying to survive summer while working on her next novel vs. surfer dude who parties all night. These two find common ground (and a kiss) while living next door to each other for the summer.

Caribbean Summer (2022)
Heather Hemmens and Ser’Darius Blain find love in the Caribbean after one falls victim to a rental scam. This movie is eye candy from top to bottom including the cast, the wardrobe, and the location – Belize!

The Beach House (2018)
This Hallmark Hall of Fame movie feels like a throwback in the best possible way. Starring Andie McDowell, Minka Kelly and Chad Michael Murray, this book to movie adaptaion doesn’t shy away from tough subjects.

Spend the Summer Abroad with Hallmark
While most of the movies recommended took place on a beach, there was a certain amount of love shown for summer in France.
Her Pen Pal (2021)
Starring Mallory Jansen and Joshua Sasse, Her Pen Pal is about an event planner traveling to Paris to help with her friend’s wedding. Naturally she reconnects with a childhood pen pal.

Summer Villa (2016)
When a chef (Victor Webster) and a writer (Hilarie Burton) both need a professional reset, they find themselves inadvertently sharing a French villa for the summer.
We were thrilled to add this to one of our fan-favorite throwback reviews earlier this year. Wowie Zowie Victor Webster never disappoints and Hilarie Burton manages to level up every Hallmark appearance we’ve seen her in.

Christmas In July Hits
Every year Hallmark celebrates Christmas in July with re-airings of some fan favorites as well as one or two new movies. We were thrilled when they produced a true Christmas in July movie and of course it makes our list!
Campfire Christmas (2022)
Corbin Bleu and Tori Anderson star in a movie where a summer camp love is rekindled during a Christmas in July event.
