- “The Nine Lives of Christmas” originally aired on the Hallmark Channel on November 8, 2014.
- Mark Jean directed “The Nine Lives of Christmas.” Mark has 65 directing credits including “Holiday Hotline,” “Heart of the Matter,” “Eight Gifts of Hannukah” and “The Baker’s Son.”
- Sheila Roberts wrote the book “The Nine Lives of Christmas,” as well as the sequel “The Nine Kittens of Christmas.”
- Nancey Silvers adapted the story into a screenplay. She has 32 writing credits which include 32 episodes of “Chesapeake Shores,” two “Murder She Baked” movies as well as “Love at the Thanksgiving Day Parade.”
- Brandon Routh plays hot firefighter Zachary Stone. This movie and its sequel “The Nine Kittens of Christmas” appear to be the only Hallmark movies in his 68 credits. He appeared in 76 episodes of “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” and 21 episodes of the CW series “Arrow.” He also plays the role of Superman in “Superman Returns,” “Batwoman” and “The Flash” TV series.
- Kimberly Sustad plays Merilee. This was Kimberly’s first starring role on Hallmark. She had previous smaller roles on “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” as well as a holiday movie called “A Bride for Christmas.” We are eagerly awaiting the release of “Three Wiser Men and Boy” for which she is both an actor and a writer.
- Chelsea Hobbs plays mean girlfriend Blair. Chelsea has 52 acting credits and was most recently seen in the holiday movie “Navigating Christmas.” Of course she was also in the series “UnReal” as well as “Girlfriend’s Guide to Divorce.”
- Gregory Harrison plays Fire Chief Sam. Gregory has 119 acting credits and most recently he has appeared in 144 episodes of “General Hospital.” Gregory reprised his role in the sequel – “The Nine Kittens of Christmas” and also appeared in a number of the “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” movies.
- Jennifer Cheon Garcia plays fellow vet school student Sarah. She has 38 acting credits and ticks bingo spaces for “Girlfriends Guide to Divorce” as well as “Once Upon a Time.”
- Filming took place at Fort Langley in the Langley Township, British Columbia. Sustad notes all the kittens were adopted by the crew.
