As loyalties fracture and long-simmering tensions finally boil over, Irene finds herself increasingly trapped in a marriage that’s lost all illusion of romance, while Soames tightens his grip in ways that feel more controlling than loving. Meanwhile, Jolyon makes a life-altering decision to walk away from status and security in favor of something far more uncertain, and Frances pivots with calculated precision as her world shifts beneath her. It’s a finale that leans fully into its soapy roots — setting the stage for even bigger fallout in what we’re hoping is Season 2.
