Synopsis: Told over the course of five years, two recent college grads find themselves drawn together year after year while working for a catering company that specializes in holiday parties.

News and Notes About The 5-Year Christmas Party
- The Five Year Christmas Party was directed by Peter Benson. Peter is both an actor and director. As an actor, we last saw him briefly in The Cases of Mystery Lane: Death is Listening and he will also appear in the upcoming Debbie Macomber’s Joyful Mrs. Miracle. As for directing, this is Peter’s 19th directorial project. He’s recently directed Love on the Danube: Kissing Stars on Hallmark+, and Blind Date Book Club. He also directed the previously mentioned Debbie Macomber’s Joyful Mrs. Miracle as well as Leah’s Perfect Gift – both coming later this year.
- Zac Hug is credited with writing the script for this movie. His previous 17 writing credits include Ghosts of Christmas Always, the two Sister Swap movies from 2021, several Christmas in Evergreen movies, plus many more. The only non-Hallmark projects include a series called These People and Shadowhunters.
- Katie Findlay plays Alice. For those who don’t know, Katie identifies as queer and genderfluid [this is according to their Wikipedia page] and uses they/them pronouns. Katie has 31 acting credits including Hallmark favorites like Sealed with a List and Love Strikes Twice. Outside of Hallmark, they’ve appeared in projects like Walker: Independence, Nancy Drew, How to Get Away with Murder, and Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist – where they even showed off their singing skills in several episodes.
- Jordan Fisher plays Max. Jordan has a mixed bag of projects with his 37 acting credits. Throwing it way back, he’s appeared in shows like The Secret Life of the American Teenager, Teen Beach Movie, Liv and Maddie, amongst tons of voice work. At 23, he was the youngest male celebrity to win Dancing with the Stars. He played the dual roles of John Laurens / Philip Hamilton in the Broadway production of Hamilton from 2016-2017.

- Jeff Avenue plays friend Daniel. He has nine acting credits but this isn’t his first Hallmark rodeo. He previously appeared in the 2020 Kimberley Sustad/Paul Campbell joint Christmas by Starlight. Outside of Hallmark, he’s been seen in Lucifer, Star Trek Beyond, and Untold Stories of the ER.
- Zenia Marshall plays Claire. Zenia has 15 acting credits including Hallmark projects like A Godwink Christmas: Second Chance, First Love, In the Key of Love, and Wedding of Dreams. We remember Zenia as teenage Mirabel Copper in all 10 episodes of Date My Dad.
- Katrina Reynolds plays Pam, Max’s sister and caterer. Katrina was last seen on Hallmark in Time For Her to Come Home for Christmas as well as The Christmas Waltz from 2020. Outside of the network, she’s appeared in projects like A Million Little Things, Firefly Lane, and Schmigadoon!
