Sugar & Vice: A Hannah Swensen Mystery
Mystery fans, your patience has finally paid off – Hannah Swensen is back! Hallmark returns to its beloved baking-and-sleuthing franchise with Sugar & Vice: A Hannah Swensen Mystery, starring Alison Sweeney, Victor Webster, and Barbara Niven. In this newest installment, Hannah stumbles upon a body at the grand re-opening of the Lake Eden Inn, but when a storm rolls in and traps everyone inside, the guest list suddenly doubles as a suspect list. With the roads washed out and nowhere for the killer to run, Hannah must solve the case before the storm clears. After fans spent months asking where the mysteries went, Hallmark is finally serving up a fresh slice of murder in Lake Eden.
Sugar & Vice: A Hannah Swensen Mystery premieres on Saturday, March 7, 2026, on Hallmark Channel (and will be available to stream on Hallmark+ the following day).

About Sugar & Vice: A Hannah Swensen Mystery
- Peter Benson directed Sugar & Vice: A Hannah Swensen Mystery. This movie marks Peter’s 26 directorial project. His recent work includes The More the Merrier, Christmas Above the Clouds, and Return to Office.
- Ali Sweeney wrote the screenplay for Sugar & Vice. This marks her fourth writing credit in the Hannah Swensen franchise. She also serves as producer and lead starring as Hannah.
- Wowie-Zowie Victor Webster returns as Chad Norton. We last saw Victor on Hallmark in 2025 with back-to-back Hannah movies: Reality Bites and Pie to Die For, respectively.
- Barbara Niven co-stars as Hannah’s mom Delores. Barbara also appeared in Reality Bites and Pie to Die For in 2025 as well as Christmas Baby.
- Mike Dupond returns as Sheriff Ealing and blossoming love interest for Delores. Mike has 204 acting credits and has appeared in five previous Hannah Swensen movies.
- Juliana Wimbles plays Cookie Jar colleague Lisa. This movie marks her 48th acting credit but Juliana has also been busy screenwriting as she recently penned Romance at Hope Ranch starring Alison Sweeney.
- Tess Atkins returns as Hannah’s sister Michelle. This is her 25th acting credit and has been part of the Hannah Swensen universe since Sweet Revenge in 2021.
- Wern Lee plays hotel employee Bobby. This is Wern’s 14th acting credit and he previously appeared in Reality Bites as well as Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: Something New.
- Paul McGillion plays Kurt Howe. You may recognize Paul from his role as James McCleod on Providence Falls. Interestingly enough, Paul will appear in this weekend’s Nelly Knows Mysteries: All Manners of Murder.
- Tom Stevens appears at Darryl. With 47 acting credits, Tom’s last role on Hallmark was in North to Home in 2022.
- Teagan Vincze as Kurt’s wife, Cheryl. Teagan has 62 acting credits and has appeared on Hallmark before but also noteworthy is her role as Marcia Cross in The Unauthorized Melrose Place Story.
- Marlie Collins plays ill-fated Brandi Wyne. Justice for Marlie Collins… she has 34 acting credits which include The More the Merrier and The Real West. She needs a much more substantial role than Brandi Wine.
