- “Sister Swap: Christmas in the City” was part of a two-part, yet still a stand alone movie. It premiered on December 12, 2021. It’s companion movie, “Sister Swap: A Hometown Holiday” premiered the week prior on December 5, 2021.
- This movie was directed by Sean McNamara who currently has 72 directing credits. He directed both Sister Swap movies but other notable films include “Soul Surfer” from 2011, as well as the Hallmark classic “Christmas in Evergreen: Tidings of Joy.”
- Writing credit belongs to Erik Patterson and Jessica Scott, as well as Claire Boyles.
- This movie stars Ashley Williams as Meg. Williams currently has 80 acting credits. We last saw her in the 2023 holiday movie “Five More Minutes: Moments Like These.” She will play Aunt Pam in the AppleTV series “Amber Brown” beginning July 29, 2023.
- Former SNL actor Kevin Nealon stars as Uncle Dave.
- Both movies were filmed back to back in Salt Lake City, Utah.
