We finally know who Chelsea has been talking to. Episode four of Paris Is Always a Good Idea is called “Knightly,” and it drops the pretense right away. Those voice memos she’s been recording all season? They’re for Jason. That reveal reframes everything we thought we understood about the first three episodes, and it sets up an hour that we think is the strongest of the series so far.
We get the donor dinner at Sophie’s home and the real reason she wants control. We get a conversation about cancer and legacy that landed hard for both of us. We get the Eiffel Tower, a David Gray needle drop that made us both write “OMG” in our notes, the hair tuck heard round the world, and a kiss that was worth every almost-kiss that came before it.
