We’ve reached the final stop on our Christmas in July journey through Hallmark Hall of Fame movies with November Christmas. Starring Sam Elliott, John Corbett, Sarah Paulson, Karen Allen, and a young Emily Alyn Lind, this emotional drama tells the story of a father determined to give his seriously ill daughter one last chance to experience the magic of the holidays. With the help of an entire community, Halloween and Christmas arrive months early in a heartfelt effort to fill her remaining days with joy. It’s a very different kind of Hallmark Christmas movie – and a fitting way to wrap up our look back at some of the network’s most prestigious holiday films.
November Christmas aired on November 28, 2010, as a Hallmark Hall of Fame presentation on the CBS network. It is currently available to stream on Hallmark+.

The Cast of Hallmark’s November Christmas
- The film is directed by Robert Harmon, whose credits range from the cult classic The Hitcher to the popular Jesse Stone TV movie franchise.
- Pnenah Goldstein wrote the script. She also penned Christmas with Holly and Loving Leah.
- Sam Elliott stars as Jess. His legendary career spans more than five decades, including The Big Lebowski, Tombstone, and A Star Is Born.
- John Corbett stars as Tom. He’s best known for Northern Exposure, Sex and the City, and My Big Fat Greek Wedding.
- Sarah Paulson plays Beth. This role came years before her Emmy-winning turn in The People v. O.J. Simpson and her run on American Horror Story.
- Karen Allen plays Claire. She’s best known for starring opposite Harrison Ford as Marion Ravenwood in Raiders of the Lost Ark.
- Emily Alyn Lind stars as Vanessa. This was an early role for the actress, who would later lead HBO Max’s Gossip Girl reboot.
- November Christmas premiered on November 28, 2010, on CBS as part of the prestigious Hallmark Hall of Fame anthology. It was one of the last Hallmark Hall of Fame movies to air on CBS before the franchise moved to ABC, and it drew an impressive 13.5 million viewers in its original broadcast.
