This week on Girls Gone Hallmark, Amy and Travis trade college campus crime scenes for small-town suspense in upstate New York in Mystery 101: Deadly History. When Amy’s uncle goes missing, the investigation takes a dark turn, and the clues start piling up faster than suspects. But just when you think things are wrapping up, the final 30 seconds hit – and now we’re spiraling. Seriously, how are we supposed to go on after that ending?

About Mystery 101: Deadly History (2021)
- Stacey N. Harding directed the final installment of Mystery 101. With 15 directing credits, Deadly History was her very first project for Hallmark. She’s gone on to direct movies like Round and Round, Love, Classified, and several episodes of Holidazed and When Calls the Heart.
- This installment of Mystery 101 was written by John Christian Plummer, based on characters by Robin Bernheim and Lee Goldberg.
- Jill Wagner, Kristoffer Polaha, Robin Thomas and Miranda Edwards all return. Missing: Preston Vanderslice as Bud.
- Peter Benson plays Al Winslow. He’s both an actor and a director. Most recently, he appeared in The Cases of Mystery Lane: Death is Listening. He directed Return to Office earlier this year and currently has one project in production, though it’s unclear if it’s for Hallmark.
- Lorne Cardinal plays Sheriff Harry Ridgeway. With 97 acting credits, he’s been in a lot of projects outside of Hallmark. But you might recognize him from an episode of When Calls the Heart in 2019 or the 2018 Hallmark movie Welcome to Christmas.
- Michael Patrick Denis plays Olly Kent. He has 47 acting credits and has appeared in many Hallmark movies like Color My World with Love, Eight Gifts of Hanukkah, and Raise a Glass to Love.
- Alison Araya plays Jennifer. With 88 acting credits, she was last seen in Happy Howlidays from 2024.
- Iris Quinn plays Elenor Kent. Iris has 84 acting credits with lots of Hallmark titles including The Wish Swap and All I Need for Christmas both from 2024.
- Jason Cermak plays Mark Lyons. His resume includes many Lifetime and Hallmark movies. His last appearance on Hallmark Channel was in A Mrs. Miracle Christmas from 2021.
- Jenn MacLean-Angus plays Sinead Sullivan. Jenn has 31 acting credits and last appeared on Hallmark in The More Love Grows from 2023.
- Deadly History was filmed in the spring of 2021 in British Columbia, Canada. It premiered on August 1, 2021 on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.
