Movies to Watch If You Liked “Three Wise Men and a Baby”
When “Three Wise Men and a Baby” hit the Hallmark airwaves in 2022, Hallmark fans around the world swooned. The combination of three Hallmark hunks, some fun surprises (Tyler Hynes as a basement gamer!) and an adorable baby made this movie an instant smash hit.
If you’re looking to fill an Andrew Walker sized hole in your viewing schedule, we’ve got some great suggestions for movies like “Three Wise Men and a Baby.”

If You Loved the Stellar Writing Team – Campbell & Sustad
We LOVE when Paul Campbell and Kimberly Sustad team up to write a script. This isn’t their first hit together, however. Throw it back to 2020 for “Christmas by Starlight!“

Not only do Paul Campbell and Kimberly Sustad write the script for “Christmas by Starlight” – they star in it as well!
“Christmas By Starlight” checks so many of the same boxes you’ll get from “Three Wise Men and a Baby.” You get the same writing team, a starring role from Paul Campbell, and you get more Kimberly Sustad that just a cameo!
“Christmas By Starlight” is perhaps more of a warm and cozy movie – there are some comedic turns in the script, but we think it’s more classically Hallmark.

If You Loved the Hot Dudes in “Three Wise Men and a Baby”
Listeners of Girls Gone Hallmark know how much we love our “Wowie Zowies!” But if you’re looking for supreme hotness in a Hallmark Christmas movie, look no further than “Lights, Camera, Christmas!”
Lights Camera Christmas

Sure, John Brotherton wins hotness points just for existing, but you haven’t lived until you’ve seen him as a sexy Santa, trust us.
If you loved that “Three Wise Men and a Baby” was slightly outside of the Hallmark box, you’ll love the way “Lights Camera Christmas” pokes fun at the typical Hallmark formula. Plus you get Kimberly Sustad once again!

If You Loved the Ensemble Cast in “Three Wise Men and a Baby”

We can’t limit ourselves to just one suggestion here, which is appropriate as we’re talking about ensemble casts!
The Santa Summit

We raved about the ensemble cast of “The Santa Summit” last year! While there were two clear leads in the form of Joey King and Benjamin Hollingsworth, that movie was taken to the next level thanks to the additions of Amy Groening, Stephanie Sy, Rodrigo Belifus, Dan deJaeger and, of course, our favorite Dasher Erik Athavale!
Bonus “Three Wise Men and a Baby” tie in: “The Santa Summit” was written by Russell Hainline who co-wrote the sequel “Three Wiser Men and a Boy!”

Haul Out the Holly
I had a goofy smile on my face the entire time I watched “Haul Out the Holly.” Yes, Lacey and Wes were at the top of the game, delivering pitch perfect performances.

We think “Haul out the Holly” owes it’s success to a focus on strong supporting characters like Stephen Tobolowsky and Melissa Peterman! Plus, we get a surprise cameos from Eric Mabius and Kristoffer Polaha!

Set your DVRs for Three Wiser Men and a Boy!
Obviously, the ultimate follow up to “Three Wise Men and a Baby” will be the hotly anticipated sequel “Three Wiser Men and a Boy.” You know we’ll be reviewing the new release on Girls Gone Hallmark! If we had to guess, we would assume a Thanksgiving weekend release!
