Who Stars in Hallmark’s Love of the Irish (Hallmark Channel – 2025)
- Ali Liebert takes the helm for Love of the Irish, marking her 10th directorial project. Fresh off the success of Deck the Halls on Cherry Lane, which premiered on Hallmark+ in December 2024, Liebert not only directs but also makes a brief cameo in the film. This is her second time collaborating with Shenae Grimes-Beech, having previously directed her in Time for Her to Come Home for Christmas in 2023.
- Justin D. James wrote the script for Love of the Irish, making his Hallmark debut. His previous work includes projects for Great American Family and Lifetime, as well as writing 18 episodes of the Amazon Prime series The Baxters.
- Shenae Grimes-Beech stars as Fiona. She’s a somewhat familiar face on Hallmark, having appeared in two Christmas movies, Time for Her to Come Home for Christmas and When I Think of Christmas. Fans may also recognize her as Annie Wilson, the lead character in the 90210 reboot, where she starred in 118 episodes from 2008 to 2013.
- Moira Kelly takes on the role of Fiona’s mom Helen. With 52 acting credits, Moira is well-known for her memorable roles in One Tree Hill and The West Wing. Many fans also remember her as the fiery figure skater in the classic film The Cutting Edge.
- Stephen Hagan, an Irish actor with 23 acting credits, is no stranger to Hallmark. He previously co-starred alongside Lacey Chabert in the 2014 holiday favorite A Royal Christmas.
- Eilish O’Carroll stars as MJ, Helen’s birth mother. She’s an accomplished Irish actor and writer, and best known for her role as Winnie McGoogan in the hit BBC sitcom Mrs. Brown’s Boys.
- This movie was filmed on location in West Cork, Ireland in October 2024.
