The Hannah, Mike, and Norman Love Triangle

Starring Alison Sweeney as Hannah, the series quickly became a fan favorite. For many years, Sweeney was joined by Cameron Mathison, who played Detective Mike Kingston, Hannah’s love interest and crime-solving partner. Mathison’s portrayal of Mike brought charm and chemistry to the screen, alongside Gabriel Hogan as Norman Rhodes, the charming dentist, creating a love triangle that added layers of romance and humor to the series.

Goodbye Mike, Hello Chad Norton

However, in 2023, everything shifted when Cameron Mathison signed an exclusive contract with a competing network. This left Hallmark searching for a new leading man to star opposite Alison Sweeney. Enter Victor Webster, a well-known face to Hallmark fans, who took on the role of Lake Eden’s prosecuting attorney, Chad Norton.
