Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True: Premiere Date, Cast and Everything We Know
Updated: September 17, 2026 — Hallmark has released the full Countdown to Christmas 2026 schedule, confirming that Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True premieres Saturday, November 28 at 8/7c.
Lacey Chabert is going to Disney World. Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True is the first Hallmark original Christmas movie ever filmed on location at Walt Disney World Resort, and it lands in one of the most valuable slots on the entire Countdown to Christmas schedule.
Here’s everything we know so far, and we’ll keep updating this post through premiere night and our podcast review.
Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True Premiere Date
The movie premieres Saturday, November 28, 2026 at 8:00 pm ET/PT on Hallmark Channel, and streams the next day on Hallmark+.
Look at where Hallmark put it. Thanksgiving 2026 falls on Thursday, November 26, which makes this the Saturday of Hallmark’s Merry Thanksgiving Week — four straight days of double features at 6 and 8, and the busiest, most-watched stretch of the whole season. Everyone is home, everyone is on the couch, and Hallmark handed that slot to Lacey Chabert at Walt Disney World.
It airs opposite nothing else on the network that night except The Most Wonderful Secret at 6, so it has the 8 pm anchor spot to itself.

What Is Holiday Ever After About?
Lindsey (Chabert) heads to Walt Disney World Resort with her extended family for a Christmas trip. The holiday she pictured falls apart fast when she realizes the room next door belongs to Philip (Travis Van Winkle), a man she recently had a disastrous first date with, who’s there on a family trip of his own.
As their paths keep crossing over the course of the stay, the two thaw toward each other and start to realize they have more in common than either expected. A wish Lindsey made at the Cinderella Fountain may be the thing that turns the whole rivalry into a romance.
So: forced proximity, enemies to lovers, and a little bit of Disney magic. Classic Hallmark structure on the biggest possible stage.
Who Stars in Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True?
Lacey Chabert stars as Lindsey opposite Travis Van Winkle (Good Sam, ‘Tis the Season to Be Merry) as Philip.
The supporting cast:
- Richard Kind — Only Murders in the Building, and the voice of Bing Bong in Inside Out. Casting the voice of Bing Bong in the Disney movie is a wink we appreciate.
- Christy Carlson Romano — Kim Possible, Even Stevens. An actual Disney Channel icon in the Disney World movie is the kind of full-circle choice that’s going to send a whole generation straight to the group chat.
- Bryce Durfee — General Hospital
- Taegen Burns — The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers
- Asher Alexander — Hal & Harper
- Patrick Renna — The Sandlot, in a cameo
Ryan Landels wrote and directed, following Santa Tell Me and Sugarplummed.
A First for Hallmark and Disney
This is the first time Hallmark has filmed an original Christmas movie inside Walt Disney World Resort. The two brands have collaborated on merchandise before, but this is easily their most ambitious crossover.
Expect the park itself to do a lot of the work: Cinderella Castle, Main Street U.S.A., and the holiday overlays that Disney does better than anyone. If the handmade candy canes show up, we’ll be thrilled.
Hallmark and Disney also announced a co-branded holiday merchandise line alongside the movie, including ornaments, greeting cards and gift wrap.
First the NFL, now Disney. We can’t help but wonder what partnership is next.
Why We’re Excited
Chabert delivers. When Lacey stars in a Countdown to Christmas movie, it tends to become a seasonal favorite. She starred in She’s Making a List in 2025 and Lost in Paradise in January 2026, she has her own Hallmark ornament, and her retail collection was in the gift bags at Hallmark Channel’s 25th birthday party. When Hallmark celebrates itself, Lacey Chabert is in the swag.
The setting is a genuine change. Hallmark romance usually runs on small-town coziness. Trading that for a theme park at Christmas is a real swing, and we’re curious whether the Disney scale helps the intimacy of the love story or fights it.
Two Disney generations in one cast. Romano for the Disney Channel kids, Kind for the Pixar crowd.
