Hearts Around the Table: Shari’s Second Act is the second installment in Hallmark’s Hearts Around the Table collection, the centerpiece of the Spring Into Love 2025 season. Starring Brendan Morgan and Mishael Morgan, this charming romance follows Shari, who returns to the vibrant pulse of D.C. after a heartbreak. Eager to rekindle her passion for painting, her creative spark is ignited when she meets Evan – a humble repairman who reveals himself to be a distinguished gallery owner. This serendipitous encounter sets the stage for a luminous journey of art, inspiration, and the promise of unexpected love.
Hearts Around the Table: Shari’s Second Act premieres on Hallmark Channel on Saturday March 29, 2025 (and streaming the next day on Hallmark+).

- Mishael Morgan stars as Shari. Mishael is a 2022 Daytime Emmy Award winning actress for her role as Amanda Sinclair on Young and the Restless. She was last on Hallmark in the holiday movie Christmas with a Kiss in 2023.
- Brendan Morgan stars as Evan James. Brendan has appeared in Hallmark movies like The Jane Mysteries: Too Much to Lose and Christmas with a Kiss. Outside of the network, he’s been in projects like The Handmaid’s Tale and Saint-Pierre.
Other Cast Appearing in Hearts Around the Table Movies
- Darlene Cooke appears as Lindsay. Darlene has 49 acting credits with roles in Hallmark movies like Napa Ever After and Holiday Heritage.
- Ashley Newbrough stars as Jenna. She was recently in the Unwrapping Christmas collection on Hallmark+ in 2024, as well as Operation Nutcracker, Love on the Right Course and Flipping for Christmas.
- Mindy Cohn – yes, that Mindy Cohn, co-stars as Angie. You will likely see Mindy reprise this role throughout the entire collection of movies. Mindy is best known for her role on The Facts of Life and has recently been seen on the series Palm Royale.
- Kathryn Davis appears as Kiki Davis. Kathryn appeared in all four Unwrapping Christmas movies that aired on Hallmark+ in 2024. We will see Kathryn lead the charge in her own story in Hearts Around the Table: Kiki’s Fourth Ingredient.
- Jake Epstein plays Josh Adler. Jake also appeared in the Unwrapping Christmas movies, as well as Mistletoe Murders and The Wedding Contract.
