Hallmark Headlines: Pack Your Bags – Polaha’s Hosting a Cruise & We’re Spiraling

Your new favorite source for all things Hallmark has officially docked! Welcome to Hallmark Headlines – where the glitter is real, the takes are hot, and the news comes faster than a small-town couple falling in love before the tree lighting.

In this recurring segment, Megan and Wendy step into their imaginary anchor chairs – less Nightly News, more kitchen-table-meets-holiday-sideline-reporting – to bring you the biggest stories from across the Hallmark universe. This week’s coverage includes a book series adaptation, the Kristoffer Polaha and Victor Webster cruise setting sail, and why we aren’t reviewing Hallmark’s Christmas in July movies.

It’s the Hallmark update you didn’t know you needed – served with a shot of snark, a sprinkle of speculation, and just the right amount of holiday sparkle. Stay tuned. This broadcast is about to sleigh.

The Hallmark Headlines We’re Talking About This Week

  • The Hallmark Christmas Experience Returns to KC – Hallmark is making your peppermint-scented dreams come true – again – with the second annual immersive Christmas event in Kansas City. Expect twinkle lights, festive photo ops, and enough holiday cheer to power Santa’s sleigh. Just bring your Christmas spirit – and maybe your credit card limit – because that VIP ticket? Let’s just say it’s priced like you’re buying actual North Pole real estate.
  • Hallmark Adjacent News – Rachael Leigh Cook and Freddie Prinze Jr. reunite for a Christmas movie called The Christmas Affair. No news on if this movie will land on Hallmark or not but we don’t hate the idea of Freddie Prinze Jr. on our television.
  • The Way Home Wins Big (and May Be Headed for the Emmys?) – The hit series just picked up the Audience Choice Award at the Canadian Screen Awards.
Could an Emmy nod be next?
  • Victor Webster & Kristoffer Polaha Are Setting Sail with 200 Fans – The Fan Cruise sets sail January 4 – 8, 2026 and stops in Catalina and Ensenada.
Price tag: $1,000+ but includes cruise fare and up close and personal time with Hallmark stars Kristoffer Polaha and Victor Webster.
  • Providence Falls Adaptation Promises Romance Across Centuries – Time travel? Star-crossed lovers? Angels of Destiny? It’s basically Outlander meets Touched by an Angel… but Hallmark. Produced by JoAnna Garcia Swisher and airing as a three-part “event” in August.
  • The Christmas in July Schedule Is Stuffed Like a Stocking We Didn’t Ask For – Two new episodes of Holidazed drop every Sunday and the Christmas at Sea docuseries sails in every Monday. Still no Finding Mr. Christmas (rude), but there’s plenty of Unwrapping Christmas, for anyone who’s been dying to unwrap last year’s movies.
