Hallmark Halloween Movies 2026: A Knight to Remember and The Spirit of Halloween
Hallmark is giving us two brand new Halloween movies this year, and they are landing on the first two Saturdays in October.
Both films are part of Hallmark’s annual Fall into Love programming event. Both premiere at 8:00 pm ET/PT on Hallmark Channel and stream the next day on Hallmark+. Hallmark announced the pair on August 5 during a Television Critics Association panel.
Here is what we know about A Knight to Remember and The Spirit of Halloween.

A Knight to Remember (Premieres Saturday, October 3)
Starring: Julie Gonzalo, James Trevena and Chris McNally
Museum conservator Emily Porter (Julie Gonzalo) is very practical, very organized, and very much not expecting her life to be upended by a statue.
Then she restores a centuries old statue of the legendary knight Sir Griffin de Beauford (James Trevena). One unexpected kiss brings him back to life.
Now Emily has a chivalrous medieval time traveler to look after. She walks him through modern Chicago and pumpkin spice lattes and a Halloween Medieval Fayre. There is also an FBI investigation happening, led by her ex-husband.
Along the way she starts to rediscover the wonder and romance she thought she had left behind. But a rare celestial conjunction is approaching. Griffin’s fate hangs in the balance, and Emily has to decide whether the safest heart is one kept guarded or one brave enough to believe in a love written in the stars.

Why We’re Excited
It is a 3 Bed, 2 Bath, 1 Ghost reunion. Julie Gonzalo and Chris McNally both starred in that one, and now they are both back in something supernatural. If you loved their chemistry there, you have a reason to show up.
The plot is completely unhinged and we mean that as the highest compliment. A time traveling knight. Pumpkin spice lattes. A Medieval Fayre. An FBI investigation run by the ex-husband. A celestial conjunction. Hallmark threw everything at this one, and we are fully on board.
James Trevena is a newer face for a lot of Hallmark viewers. He appeared in Lost in Paradise earlier this year, so this is a chance to see him take on a bigger role.
Chicago is having a Hallmark moment. This one is set in modern Chicago, and Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story filmed entirely in and around the city this summer. Two Chicago movies in one fall season.
The Spirit of Halloween (Premieres Saturday, October 10)
Starring: Meghan Ory, Kevin McGarry and Lachlan Quarmby
Bridal designer Everly Stone (Meghan Ory) hates Halloween, and she has a good reason.
The beloved fire station bash once left her heartbroken in front of everyone she knew. She has been hiding behind work and fear ever since.
Then her late mentor turns up with a glamorous warning. Three mischievous spirits sweep Everly through one unforgettable night, showing her the joy she lost, the people she has been pushing away, and the future she might miss if nothing changes.
A loyal assistant is ready for more. A town is waiting to welcome her back. And longtime friend Beau Madison (Kevin McGarry) is still carrying a spark from their past. Everly has to decide whether Halloween is the night that broke her heart or the one that can finally help it heal.
Lachlan Quarmby (Hope Valley: 1874, Providence Falls) appears as the Ghost of Halloween Future.
Why We’re Excited
A Halloween Christmas Carol is a real idea, and we have not seen Hallmark try it before. Most Halloween romances give us a haunted house or a costume ball and call it a day. Building one on the bones of a Dickens structure gives the story somewhere to go, and the three spirits format means we get Everly’s past and future rather than just her present.
The backstory helps too. Public heartbreak at a small town fire station Halloween party is a very particular kind of humiliation, and it gives Everly something real to start from.
Then there is the pairing. Meghan Ory brings Chesapeake Shores and Sullivan’s Crossing. Kevin McGarry brings When Calls the Heart and The Wedding Veil. Two performers with that much Hallmark history in one movie is usually a good sign for the chemistry.
One of us is more sold on the resurrected knight and one of us wants to see what Hallmark does with the Dickens structure. We will report back on both.
And keep an eye out for Lachlan Quarmby as the Ghost of Halloween Future. Anyone watching Hope Valley: 1874 on Hallmark+ will recognize him.
What Is Hallmark’s Fall into Love?
Fall into Love is Hallmark’s annual autumn programming event, running through September and October with new original movies built around fall settings, small town festivals, and cozy season romance. The two Halloween films are part of that slate.
Fall into Love wraps up right as Countdown to Christmas begins on Saturday, October 17, so October 2026 is stacked from the first weekend straight through the end of the year.
