Hallmark Goes Royal! Three New Royal Movies on Hallmark This Spring
If we know anything it’s that Hallmark loves a theme! From Winter Escapes this January, to a strong focus on romance in Loveuary, Hallmark’s motto is “If you theme it, they will watch.” That appears to be their strategy with their next batch of movies all with a royal theme. While we don’t have release dates on this movies yet, it’s a safe guess to assume that these will be coming Spring 2025.

When Will Hallmark’s Royal Movies Premier?
Hallmark’s Royal lineup will premiere in March, starting on Saturday, March 1.
What Will Hallmark’s Royal Collection Be Called?
We don’t have any information on what Hallmark will call this royal collection of movie,s but we do have some suggestions!
- Royal Romance – probably too on the nose, but the alliteration is nice
- Royally in Love
- Scepter Season
- A Royal Flush (of love!)
- Crown Jewels of Love!
- Spring into Love – Royal Edition
Okay, we won’t quit our day jobs any time soon. We’ll update this post as soon as we have more information about when you can expect these movies to air on Hallmark!
The Royal We – Saturday, March 1

Stars: Mallory Jansen and Charlie Carrick
Synopsis: Princess Bea is forced into an arranged marriage with a prince from a small kingdom after her older sister elopes with a non-royal.
Our first impression: We fell in love with Mallory Jansen in “On the 12th Date of Christmas” and again in “Paging Mr. Darcy” so we’re pretty excited to see her back in this royal role opposite Hallmark newcomer (with an impressive resume) Charlie Carrick.
The Reluctant Royal – Saturday, March 8

Stars: Andrew Walker and Emilie de Ravin
Synopsis: Johnny, a mechanic in Philly is royally surprised by the revelation that his dad is a duke! While reconnecting with his dad doesn’t go exactly as planned this reunion does have the added bonus of meeting an advisor to the duke no less, Prudence.
Our first impression: Remember when we said more against type roles for Andrew Walker? We think this might be perfect. Also Emilie de Ravin is the ultimate Girls Gone Hallmark Bingo card space as she played Belle on the often-mentioned show!
Royal-Ish – Saturday, March 15

Stars: Nichole Sakura and William Mosely
Synopsis: An amusement park princess meets a real life princess. In comes the handsome father in need of a governess for his young daughter. And they live happily every after (we assume.)
Our first impression: After The Finnish Line, Megan was demanding more Nichole Sakura on Hallmark and we’re glad to see this particular wish granted so soon! (If you need to see Nichole in action, binge Superstore immediately.)

Looking forward to the Royal Movies this Spring. Just to clarify, while The Royal We will be Charlie Carrick’s first Hallmark movie, he did preciously star in the Hallmark tv show Cedar Cove.
