Hallmark August 2026 Movies: Every Summer Nights Premiere You Need to Know
Summer Nights is in full swing over on Hallmark Channel, and August is bringing five brand new Saturday premieres to close out the season. We’ve got a wine run through Italy, a boy band reunion, an Australian homecoming, a mislabeled package that changes everything, and a Shakespeare retelling with a modern twist. Grab your favorite summer drink, because Saturdays at 8/7c just got a lot more romantic.
And if you’re not already subscribed to Hallmark+, now is the time. Lacey Chabert’s new limited series Paris Is Always a Good Idea premieres Thursday, July 30 with its first two episodes, then rolls out a new episode every Thursday through August 27, exclusively on Hallmark+. More on that below.
Saturday, August 1: Toast to Italy
Stars: Torrey DeVitto, Will Kemp
Jenny travels to Italy to track down a special bottle of wine for her sister’s wedding. Along the way she meets Arrigo, who’s also on the hunt for the elusive “Love Wine,” and their search turns into something neither of them expected. If you love a good scenic wine country setting with your romance, this one’s for you.
Saturday, August 8: Absolutely Devoted to You
Stars: Kimberley Sustad, Jesse Metcalfe
An ambitious TV producer comes up with the perfect plan to reunite a 90s boy band for their annual summer beach bash. There’s just one problem: she falls for the band’s reluctant lead singer along the way. It’s been a hot minute since we’ve seen Jesse Metcalfe on Hallmark (since his departure from Chesapeake Shores!) and we’re very interested in seeing this pairing play out!
Saturday, August 15: Aussie at Heart
Stars: Rhiannon Fish, Daniel Lissing
Samara, a former lawyer turned event planner, reunites with her ex-coworker and rival Nate to plan a couple’s anniversary celebration in Queensland. Old history resurfaces as they’re forced to confront their past and, of course, fall for each other all over again. Both Fish and Lissing have real Australian roots, so expect this one to feel especially authentic. (We cant wait to see who gets to use their accent in the movie!)
Saturday, August 22: Love Finds You
Stars: Aimee Teegarden, Chris McNally
A mislabeled package convinces jewelry designer Alex that she’s found her ideal man, sending her and delivery driver Jack on a citywide search that helps them both discover what they actually want. A classic case of mistaken identity leading to something real.
Saturday, August 29: Much About Love
Stars: Ashley Williams, Niall Matter
A TV director returns to her theater roots for a Shakespeare festival and runs straight into an old flame, rekindling a merry war of wits in this modern retelling of “Much Ado About Nothing.” Ashley Williams co-wrote this one with her husband, Neal Dodson, so we’re expecting some real heart behind the banter.
Don’t Miss: Paris Is Always a Good Idea on Hallmark+
Alongside the Saturday movie lineup, Hallmark+ is rolling out its most ambitious series yet. Paris Is Always a Good Idea stars Lacey Chabert as Chelsea Martin, a driven nonprofit executive sent to Paris to secure a major donor, only to find her rival-turned-ally Jason Knightly (Scott Michael Foster) joining her on the trip. A message left behind by Chelsea’s late mother sends her on an unexpected journey across Paris, the Irish countryside, and the vineyards of Spain to track down three former loves.
The six-episode limited series, based on the bestselling novel by Jenn McKinlay, also stars Henry Czerny, Rebecca Hanssen, Barbara Niven, Stephen Hagan, Julien Marlon Samani, and Alejandro Albarracín. The first two episodes premiere Thursday, July 30, with a new episode streaming weekly every Thursday through August 27, exclusively on Hallmark+.
