- Nina Weinman wrote this movie. She also wrote Playing Cupid (Love Ever After), Two for the Win (New Year, New Movies) and Never Kiss a Man in a Christmas Sweater (Countdown to Christmas 2020).
- The movie took place in Portland, Oregon but was filmed in Langely, British Columbia. As someone who has visited Portland several times, it was fun to see some familiar landmarks in the exterior shots.
- Italia Ricci (Miranda) has starred in hit shows like Designated Survivor, Chasing Life, Supergirl and coming soon to The Good Doctor.
