Christmas on Duty

Hallmark is reporting for Christmas on Duty! Former rivals Blair (Janel Parrish) and Josh (Parker Young) find themselves stuck working Christmas duty together. When a massive snowstorm threatens to ground holiday deliveries to the base, these two opposites must set aside old grudges and team up to save Christmas – one mission at a time. Can cooperation melt years of rivalry, or will the blizzard freeze any chance of peace on earth? Tune in to see if sparks fly where snowflakes fall.

Christmas on Duty will premiere on Saturday, November 1, 2025, on Hallmark Channel as part of Countdown to Christmas (and is available to stream the following day on Hallmark+.)

About Christmas On Duty

  • Christmas on Duty was directed by Jake Van Wagoner, marking his seventh project as a director and his second for Hallmark. He previously helmed last year’s Deck the Walls.
  • The screenplay was written by Alexis Siegel, a rising talent with just two official writing credits on IMDb. According to her LinkedIn, she’s also contributed to the limited series The Beast in Me and Fox’s Prodigal Son.
  • Janel Parrish stars as Blair. Earlier this year, she led Return to Office and dazzled audiences in last year’s Sugarplummedand Haunted Wedding. Hallmark fans will also recognize her from Finding Mr. Christmas Season 2, where she appeared as a scene partner in the very first episode.
  • Parker Young co-stars as Josh. Christmas on Duty marks his Hallmark debut, though audiences may recognize him from his impressive television resume, including 9-1-1: Lone StarA Million Little Things, and Imposters.
  • Peter Jacobson plays Richard. We last saw Peter as Lacey’s dad in Haul Out the Halloween. This movie marks his 109th acting credit.
  • Aleta Myles appears as Zoe. While new to the Hallmark family, fans might recognize her from numerous episodes of the sketch comedy series Studio C, a show also connected to director Jake Van Wagoner.
  • Melanie Stone appears as Amanda. A first-timer to Hallmark, she’s a familiar face in the feel-good movie world, with over 40 acting credits spanning Hallmark-style romances and comedies.
