Aussie at Heart
Hallmark Channel wraps up its three-movie Hallmark Birthday Celebration lineup with Aussie at Heart, starring Rhiannon Fish and Daniel Lissing. Fish stars as Samara, a former lawyer turned event planner who heads to Queensland to plan a couple’s anniversary celebration – only to find herself working alongside Nate (Lissing), her former coworker, longtime rival, and a man with whom she clearly has some unfinished business. With an Australian backdrop, a rivals-to-lovers setup, and two familiar Hallmark stars at the center of it all, Aussie at Heart closes out Hallmark’s August birthday celebration. Our review will break down the chemistry, the Queensland scenery, and whether this final movie in the three-film lineup saved the best for last.

- Colin Budds directed this film. His other work for Hallmark includes A Melbourne Match from early 2026.
- Ansley Gordon and Sophie Tilson share writing credit for Hallmark’s Aussie at Heart. Ansley recently wrote A Royal Setting and Melt My Heart This Christmas. Sophie has just a handful of writing credits, and Aussie at Heart marks her first Hallmark project.
- Rhiannon Fish stars as Samara. After a very busy 2025 for Rhiannon, this is her first project for Hallmark this year.
- Daniel Lissing stars as Nate. Hallmark fans last saw Daniel in last year’s Single on the 25th.
