The Ides of December – Part 1 : The art world comes to Fletcher’s Grove! When Sam’s old partner is murdered guarding a high-profile painting, Emily teaches Sam to sleuth off the grid, and we uncover more of Emily’s past.

About Mistletoe Murders (Season 2 – Hallmark Channel, 2025)

  • Ken Cuperus is the creator and writer of Mistletoe Murders.
  • All of our regulars return: Sarah Drew, Peter Mooney, Sierra Marilyn Riley, Jean Yoon, Lara Amersey, Kylee Evans, and David Hewlett.
  • Also Quincy Kirkwood appears as Young Emily/Grace, Evan Hasler as young Aaron, and Kolton Stewart as Violet’s boyfriend Kyle.
  • Katherine Barrell appears as Piper. Katherine was last on Hallmark in A ‘90s Christmas from 2024. She will co-star with Ali Leibert in the upcoming The Christmas Baby.
  • Tony Nappo plays Sam’s old partner Reed. Tony appeared on Hallmark in last year’s Trading Up Christmas. He has voiced two different characters on the Audible podcast series.
  • Niki Kerro plays Moira Wells. With just 12 acting credits, this is her first Hallmark project.
  • Julius Cho plays art influencer Harrison. Julius has 56 acting credits with a ton of voice work in several different animated shows. He was also in the series Children Ruin Everything.
  • Paulino Nunes plays detective Mike Meadows. Paulino has 189 acting credits with appearances in a ton of stuff though this isn’t his first role on Hallmark. He was in the 2019 movie Double Holiday.
  • Jake Epstein reprises his role as Noah. Jake has 67 acting credits and was last seen in the Hearts Around the Table movie collection. Notable: Jake also appeared in nearly 100 episodes of Degrassi: The Next Generation.
  • Special Guest Star (appearing briefly at the end of episode 4) is Aaron Ashmore as adult Aaron. Aaron has a lengthy resume including stints on Locke & Key, SkyMed, and as Gil on Ginny & Georgia.

Part 1 written by Jessie Gabe. Jessie has written for shows like Being Erica, The Spencer Sisters, and Workin’ Moms.

Part 2 written by Shelley Scarrow. Shelley wrote the final 2 episodes from season 1 as well as a few episodes from the Audible series. Other projects have been Being Erica and Degrassi: The Next Generation.

Parts 1 & 2 directed by James Genn. James has 42 directing credits. He’s worked on Ginny & Georgia, The Good Doctor, and Wild Cards. He is also tapped to direct the reboot of Private Eyes West Coast.
