About Mistletoe Murders
- Mistletoe Murders was created by Ken Cuperus and he’s credited with writing the first two episodes of the series. Ken was the executive producer of the Mistletoe Murders podcast series which the TV series was based on. He’s also been a writer and a producer on the series Hudson and Rex.
- Melanie Orr directed episodes 5 & 6 of Mistletoe Murders. Melanie has previously directed on series like Sullivan’s Crossing, The Hardy Boys, and The Spencer Sisters.
- Shelly Scarrow wrote this duo of episodes of Mistletoe Murders. Shelley’s other writing credits include Sullivan’s Crossing, Wynona Earp, and Degrassi: The Next Generation.
- Tom Cavanagh joins the cast as game master Glenn Shaw. Tom has had several long series runs including 83 episodes of Ed 146 episodes of The Flash. For Hallmark he starred in Darrow and Darrow movies.
- Jake Epstein plays wayward nephew Noah. Jake has been quite the presences on Hallmark appearing in three Unwrapping Christmas movies and four Hearts Around the Table movies. Outside of Hallmark he’s had recurring roles on Suits, Designated Survivor and The Hardy Boys.
- Sarah Drew plays Emily Lane, our shop owner with a mysterious past. Sarah has 53 acting credits including 204 episodes of Grey’s Anatomy as April Kepner. For Hallmark she has appeared in Branching Out, One Summer andGuiding Emily.
- Peter Mooney plays Detective Sam Wilner. Peter must have Big Cop Energy because among his acting credits including roles in series like Rookie Blue and Burden of Truth.
- Sierra Marilyn Ryley plays teenager Violet Wilner. This was her first acting project and she has since appeared in the series Motorheards.
- Kylee Evans plays town busybosy Brooke Carmichael. You might recognize Kylee as Stephanie from the series Good Witch.
- Lara Amersay plays June Hubble, murder suspect and Emily’s bestie. Lara has had roles in Workin’ Moms as well as the Prime Video series Cross.
- David Hewlett plays Ray, the furniture salesperson with a shady side hustle. David has a deep resume. His longest running role was on Stargate: Atlantis where he appeared on 99 episodes.
- Mistletoe Murders is based on the Audible Original Podcast by the same name.
